Standardized Testing

As we all know, high stakes testing is only one measure of educational achievement, and tests can't capture the essence of education. We are grateful that we don't have to "teach to a test" or "stress to the test." Even so, we do want to chart our students' growth and development, and we offer a nationally normed achievement test to students in grades K-8.

MAP Growth ~ administered in Spring

MAP Growth is an innovative assessment for measuring achievement and growth in math, reading, language usage, and science. It provides teachers with accurate, and actionable evidence to help target instruction for each student or groups of students regardless of how far above or below they are from their grade level. It also connects to the largest set of instructional content providers, giving educators flexibility in curriculum choices.
