Standardized Testing

As we all know, high stakes testing is only one measure of educational achievement, and tests can't capture the essence of education. We are grateful that we don't have to "teach to a test" or "stress to the test." Even so, we do want to chart our students' growth and development, and we offer a nationally normed achievement test to students in Kindergarten through 8th grades.

Kindergarten through 8th Grades

MAP Growth ~ administered three times per school year

MAP Growth is an innovative assessment for measuring achievement and growth in math, reading, and language usage, allowing teachers to track each student's progress not only throughout the school year, but across multiple years. Teachers utilize MAP scores to monitor growth of individual students and develop classroom-level strategies for instruction that will maximize every student's learning potential. It also connects to the largest set of instructional content providers, giving educators flexibility in curriculum choices.

8th through 11th Grades

Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test (PSAT) ~ administered in Fall

Information regarding the Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) and the American College Testing Program (ACT) are available to students.

Our admissions team would love to contact you with more information on our exciting programs or take you on a tour of our wonderful campus!
