Honors –

Courses Offered Students must maintain a B average in all course work to be considered for Honors. An A in the standard course must be achieved before applying for the honors course. Honors courses are as follows: English I, I, III, IV; Art History; Biology; Chemistry; Anatomy and Physiology, and Advance Spanish. Fellowship Academy accepts dual credit from approved colleges and universities.

Curricular

Distinctives: Each high school class participates in a week long field trip at the end of the year. The trips reflect the curriculum that is studied as well as give students an opportunity to experience our country’s heritage, culture and landscape. Upon completing 4 years at Fellowship Academy, students will have traveled to New Mexico, Arizona, Washington D.C., Chicago and Florida.

All students grades 9-12 participate in the PSAT on site.

GPA Computation: The GPA is determined by adding the grade points earned and dividing by the number of semester credits. The following also needs to be considered:

1. Numerical grades are given for all courses grades 9-12.

2. Honors and Dual Credit courses are given an extra weighted grade of 1.0.

Class Rank: Fellowship Academy only ranks Valedictorian and Salutatorian due to class size.
