Junior High

Junior High Mission
To prepare students for their high school years by teaching them responsibility, growing their Christian character and developing self-discipline. We want students to value their education and take their appreciation for learning into their high school years.

Grades and Progress Reports
  • Passing for all Junior High classes is 65
  • Any student making below a 75 after the third week of a six week period will have a progress report e-mailed to their parents
 
Late Work
Every effort is going to be made to decrease the amount of late work that occurs in Junior High.
 
The following policy will be used by all 6th Grade teachers:
  • 1 day late = 10 point deduction
  • 2 days late = 20 point deduction
  • 3 days late = 50 point deduction
  • 4+ days late = no credit will be given
The following policy will be used by all 7th and 8th Grade teachers:
  • 1 day = 20 point deduction
  • 2 days late = 50 point deduction
  • 3+ days late = no credit will be given
 
Cell Phones
  • Cell phones are to be turned OFF during school hours
 
 
Study Hall
  • All Jr. High students will have a study hall;  students need to use this time wisely and work on homework, projects or study for tests.
