Baseball

WORK HARD.  In everything that we do, we want do do it to the best of our ability.  We give all that we have, all of the time, and for Him.  "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord."  (Colossians 3:23)

BE A TEAMMATE.  A Mustang considers his teammates to be more significant than himself.  A Mustang recognizes that the team is more important, and can accomplish far more than just one person.  "Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourself." (Philippians 2:3)

MORE THAN BASEBALL.  Mustang baseball strives to use baseball as an avenue to accomplish what we were all created to to - glorify God.  We use the sport of baseball, and the talents we were given, to give glory to the One who gives us the ability to play this great game.  "Whether you eat or drink, or in whatever you do, do it for the glory of God." (1 Corinthians 10:31)

RESPECT.  First, we respect and fear the Lord.  His commands precede all others.  Second, we respect ourselves.  We steward over our bodies and talents well.  Last, we respect others. We respect teammates, coaches, umpires, opponents, and all others off the field.  "Outdo one another in showing honor." (Romans 12:10)

COACHING PHILOSOPHY.  The Mustang Baseball coaches not only work to create great baseball players who compete for championships, but to equip young men who can face life with integrity and honor.
